The SIETADOU © is a small
ergonomical all-wood made stool offering a multi-positionning course
close to the ground. The tipping bottom respect the body geometry and
allow the pelvis to be well positionned in respect with the
physiological bend of the spinal colomn |

Forward course The two
positions (on the knees and with crossed legs) are known and used for
all time specially by oriental cultures. They are more and more used in
occident through martial arts, yoga, ...etc...

Origin
of the name
In occitan (old local dialect in south France), Siétadou is a little
stool used by the locals in front of the chemneys or at the door step of
the farms.
Siétadou has also another meaning : it means a plate well served.
Chair seat (Assise in french) and plate (assiette in french) have the
same word roots.
“Être dans son assiette” means to be well seated, well installed,
well being.
